The Blackpool Model Village & Gardens constantly looks to better our facilities and every year we make improvements. Currently we can offer the following:

Disabled Access
This is an area that we strive constantly to improve. We are fully accessible to folks who are disabled and in wheelchairs, power scooters etc. who wish to go around by themselves. The site is fully paved and there are no stairs to negotiate.

The Gift Shop also has a spare wheelchair to loan out to visitors who feel that they may not be able to walk around the full 2½ acre gardens and displays without assistance.

Since 2007 we have been in able to provide mobility scooters  which can be loaned to those who feel they want more control, these are for hire at a nominal fee. Please ring prior to your arrival to ensure that a scooter is available.
 
There are standard WC’s, although there are other disabled facilities near by in Stanley Park. Full directions are available on request from the gift shop.

Every effort has been made to accommodate your party.

Refreshments
The gift shop sells snacks and refreshments. You can get hot drinks, tea, coffee, soft drinks, milk shakes etc and also a range of snacks.

Picnic Box
We sell a small picnic box to those who wish to take a longer time to visit the gardens and displays. This item is ONLY available during high season. Cheerfull Charlies picnic box consists of a sandwich, crisps, cake and a soft drink.
